BUT WHY WOULD A COMPANY GIVE YOU SOMETHING FOR FREE?
Each free gift is worth a different amount of points. The amount of referrals made will cover the cost of your gift, and provide FreebieJeebies with a small profit after expenses. The company advertising their offer will have had exposure to 3 potential customers (if you're aiming for an iPod Shuffle - worth 3 referrals), and they will also have saved money compared to a regular advertising campaign.
In other words, you're being rewarded by the company, and FreebieJeebies is the middle-man. Everybody wins.
Here is also a famous example of freebie marketing:
In July 2007, the music artist Prince gave away 2.8 million units of his most recent album for free by bundling them with a Sunday edition of the UK's Daily Mail. The Daily Mail paid a 36-cent licensing fee for each CD. As such, Prince earned approximately $1 million in licensing fees and in turn, sold out 21 August concerts in London which grossed $23.4 million (a record for the region). Prince earned $1million & sold out his all his concerts due to the increased exposure of his music.
The Daily Mail got 20% more readers in one day.
It's pretty much the same way the freebie scene works, everyone gains something although in this case, the consumer paid for the paper and got the CD for free. With FreebieJeebies, the only thing you need to do is find people to refer and possibly pay £5 to £10 to a company offering a non-free trial (i.e. Coral, Gala Bingo). 3) Let's say you want a Playstation 3, which costs £285.

5) Lovefilm pays FreebieJeebies a total of £350 as you've referred 14 friends/people to sign up via your referral link.
6) FreebieJeebies orders your Playstation 3, and has £75 left over.

Each free gift is worth a different amount of points. The amount of referrals made will cover the cost of your gift, and provide FreebieJeebies with a small profit after expenses. The company advertising their offer will have had exposure to 3 potential customers (if you're aiming for an iPod Shuffle - worth 3 referrals), and they will also have saved money compared to a regular advertising campaign.

In July 2007, the music artist Prince gave away 2.8 million units of his most recent album for free by bundling them with a Sunday edition of the UK's Daily Mail. It's pretty much the same way the freebie scene works, everyone gains something although in this case, the consumer paid for the paper and got the CD for free.
